This project consisted of an Android app and a supporting database back end.

The app aimed to provide a system for educational sites to provide multimedia content to their visitors without the expense of developing and installing their own information systems. Where location services are not available, Bluetooth Low Energy beacons can be used as a substitute.

The app uses location services to help the user to navigate the site and find relevant information.

The database was created as an MS SQL server database. An ASP.NET RESTful Web API was developed to facilitate communication between the backend and the app.

The app itself was developed in Android Studio. APIs and libraries such as Volley, Google Play Services and Google Maps were implemented.
